Australia Dealership Opportunity in 16 Diamond Blade

With my knowledge in construction and marketing from my manufacturing background I am now setting up a company to import Quality diamond blade, diamond core drill bits and other diamond tools to sell to the Australian market.

What I would like to do is to send you a sample diamond blade from a European manufacturer in order for you to assess the minimum quality which will be required once you have carried out your assessment of the diamond blade and packaging we can then discuss the cost and quantities which will be required.

To start with I want to get the quality and cost of this particular 400mm 16inch diamond blade for hand held saw worked out before looking at other products since I know the market for this type of 16 diamond blade in the Australia particularly well and that market is very large in terms of quantity.

1) The diamond blade is for concrete cutting.

2) This is laser welded diamond blade, the blade blank is thinner than regular road cutting blade.

Since sending you the diamond blade I have been looking at the market for diamond cutting blades and this type of blade is sold to building contractors by building material retailers in high volume but the down side of this is that very large diamond blade manufacturers are selling these blades at very low cost in order to sell these blades in very high volume. The most important is sharpness, even you can see many people use 400mm Arix diamond blade, as well as the arix diamond core drill bit. The cost of the arix diamond blade is higher but at this time I am not sure of the quantities being sold.

My aim is to start with this 16 diamond blade, just to give you the idea of quantities one retailer has 600 branches if they sell just 3 diamond blades a week we are looking at sales of 93,600 blades a year from just this one retailer alone.We could also sell to New Zealand.

The second important market for concrete 16 diamond blades is when machine hire shops rent out the machines along with the blades for hire as yet I am not sure what type of diamond blade they are hiring out some have said they hire the general purpose blade I will only get a better idea when I speak to the buyers for these shops initially I will only be offering the most sharp diamond blade until I get a better Idea what they require again this is a massive market.

I don’t know what your manufacturing capacity for this type of blade is and so whether your company is able to supply such quantities if I am able to get the orders you will appreciate it is not easy to introduce a new product especially if the product you are introducing is manufactured in China as opposed to one manufactured in Europe the only way I will be able to do this is to have the same or slightly higher quality product at a low price.

Bearing in mind the large quantities which will be required after the say a sample order quantity of 200 pcs of 16 diamond blades can please quote in USD the supply cost of diamond blades the same or higher quality as sample. As I will only require a sample quantity of 200 diamond blades initially. Please, we also need to discuss the diamond core drill bits, wall saw blade and diamond wire in the future.
